New Caprica: a BSG RPG

So, everyone who knows me knows that I am OBSESSED with Battlestar Galactica. I've been DYING for a good RPG that focuses on the characters, well-written etc, and isn't just about shipping wars and the like. Or to create one myself. With the END of Battlestar coming up, I had been having a hard time thinking about what kind of RPG I would create. A lot of characters are now DEAD, etc. And then it came to me: DUH, the year and 4 months on New Caprica. We never saw it, but we know what direction things take for some of the characters so it gives us a year and 4 months to toy around with things, to get them where they need to be by the end of season 2, and then to the Exodus.

Now, [info]newcaprica is still in the beginning stages. The WAY WAY WAY beginning stages, but I wanted to see who would be interested?

The game would pick up immediately following the nuclear destruction of Cloud 9 (and several smaller ships), President Baltar's order for settlement, and explore the hardship with that godforsaken rock. Of course, I haven't decided if the first year will be in real time or not, because, let's face it, we really want to get to the occupation of New Caprica, and how things are even WORSE then. It would also invite several new and lovely events into the fold
